Charlotte and Adam’s wedding at La Bastide de Laurence captured the romance of summer in Provence, bringing their guests together within the gardens of this historic 18th-century estate. Surrounded by rolling hills, lavender fields and the venue’s characterful stone architecture, the couple exchanged vows beneath the trees before celebrating around long, family-style tables adorned with abundant, fragrant florals. Live music from the Riviera Roaming Band brought energy and spontaneity to the occasion, while every detail reflected the natural beauty of the setting and the couple’s vision of relaxed Provençal elegance. We found our dream wedding venue by researching French villa rentals on the internet and on finding La Bastide de Laurence, we knew immediately it was for us. On our first call with the property manager, he recommended Stephanie of WEP; a trusted wedding planner who had coordinated weddings at the venue previously and who had great connections in the Provençal area. We can only agree entirely. Stephanie is super professional but with a Mothers charm. She made sure we were introduced to only the best vendors in Provence, that matched our vision and she coordinated our Wedding day with ease.
Stephanie ensured that all of the logistics and behind the scenes of planning a wedding were something we didn’t need to stress about. Our WhatsApp chat consisted of my ever changing ideas and Stephanie’s reassurance every time. Our guests were blown away with our wedding day, “A Provençal Dream” and we wouldn’t change a thing. Luckily for us we have the amazing photos (Christophe Serrano) and videos (Sandy Clusaud) to look back on and soak it all up for years to come. Thank you Stephanie and WEP!!!
